Dr. Podder (Senior) Ph.D
University of Aston
Dr. Podder is a Science and Mathematics tutor with over thirty years of experience in the public and private education sector. Having taught in numerous institutions internationally - most recently as Head of Chemistry at Acorn Independent College - Dr Podder has an impressive track record with hundreds of his students over the years securing places in the top 20 Russell Group Universities.
Dr. Podder offers specialised support to students at all stages up to A-Level for Mathematics and Chemistry, and up to GCSE for Physics in all major examination boards. Additionally, he provides help for 11+ and 13+ examinations for leading secondary schools like Tiffins and St Paul’s. He provides 1-2-1 sessions in Central, West and North London, with small tailored group sessions for up to six students at his offices in Hayes, London.
Dr. Podder (Junior) Ph.D
University College London
Dr. Podder is a recent PhD graduate from University College London where he studied the Evolution of Cooperation. He has extensive tutoring experience both inside and outside of university. He has 5 years of teaching experience which began at the London School of Tuition in Northolt with Primary to GCSE level Mathematics lessons in small classes up to 8 students. He has led undergraduate level introductory programming classes for MATLAB and Python (both in and out of University) as well as numerous drop-in sessions at School and University for more general mathematics help at all levels. He has also run a series of seminars at UCL for postgraduate students in the Computer Science department for Mathematical Methods, Algorithms and Implementations covering Linear Algebra, Statistics and Programming in various languages. Most recently, he delivered the Scientific Computing in Python Summer School course at UCL.
Currently, he provides private tuition covering Mathematics lessons from Primary to GCSE, Mathematics and Further Mathematics up to A-level, and an assortment of undergraduate level modules (Algebra, Calculus, Statistics and Programming) taught at University.
